Being a Sailor Soldier was my childhood dream. In animation Sailor Moon became a Sailor Soldier at her 14. I was waiting for that day for so long.
I thought I was much more hardworking and smarter than Sailor Moon so I deserve everything she had. Meeting friends, keeping a cat, dating someone I like...and guarding the Earth, well, it’s not that important.
But my 14 was so boring, nothing happened.
Meanwhile I was told that Chang E would be a moon probe. It would bring the mission of the country and fly to the moon.
Just like me, it doesn’t matter whether I’m a woman or not, doesn't even matter who I am, I will just complete the mission of the country. I will go wherever the country needs me, even if it's the moon.
It is said, Naoko Takeuchi got the inspiration from the story of Chang E and created Sailor Moon. She must have grown up in a very different world to be able to imagine a woman’s life can be so colourful.
